HELPING TIPS ON YOUR ADMISSION AND CHOICE
OF COURSES AND INSTITUTIONS.
Choosing your intended course of study and
higher institution has to be done meticulously,why am i saying this?,it can
deny someone admission even when you score well above average. Now all
universities have their own different methods that they use to admit students
like Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU),they aggregate both the Jamb and the Post
jamb score (that is,addition of both divided by 2) to give your real score to
be used,so in that case you need not play with any of the exams,talking of
University of Ibadan,since about three years ago,a minimum score of 200 in Jamb
will qualify you for their post utme in which your score in it will determine
your admission fate.Below are the tips to help you get admitted this year.
1.KNOW THE SCHOOL YOU ARE CHOOSING.
When
i say know the school you are choosing i mean understand their admission
procedure,check out the last cut off for your aspiring course,how they set
their post utme questions you may be thinking its too early to be talking about
Post utme but you are making a choice at the moment unless you want to later
purchase a JAMB Change of Course/Institution(COC) card to choose another
Institution.
2.GET THE JAMB PAST QUESTIONS
Don't forget the power of hindsight,getting
and solving the past questions yourself and marking it will help you know how
prepared you are and which topics to get to study more,during my own time,i
usually write down all the topics of the questions that were strange to me so
as tackle each singly.So get the past questions.
3.ATTEND A JAMB TUTORIAL
Two heads are better than one,you can't
underestimate how useful this tutorial will speed up your learning and
assimilation rate,apart from that you will meet other aspirants that would be
of help in one way or the other,therefore find a nearby JAMB tutorial lesson.
4.STUDY,STUDY AND STUDY
Read,Read and Read means be dilligent and
consistent with your studies,know the best time you can accumulate faster
whether in the morning or night or afternoon and also dont forget your most
effective reading method whether by writing it down or talking it out.Read
daily no matter for how short or long you used.
5.USE GOOGLE TO SEARCH TOPICS
Majority of students
think they can only learn from their school notes which is wrong,when you
search google for topics not clear to you,you even understand it more than the
one in your notes,in fact you can also youtube.com to get videos on the topics
you want and most people even learn most effectively when they see it with
their eyes.
5.DONT FORGET PRAYER
Pray like you have not
read and read like you have not prayed.When his grace is upon you,you
assimilate more speedily and you will receive understanding of the hard topics.
6.DON'T GIVE FALSE HOPE
What i mean by this is
that after your JAMB result is released and you notice that your score is quite
far away from the last cut off,i will advice you to obtain the JAMB Change Of
Course card and change for yourself to another course within the range of your
JAMB score so as not to get a course you won't like at all.
7.DON'T ASSUME YOU WILL
BE GIVEN JUST ANY OTHER COURSE
If you know anyone that
would help you if by chance you didnt meet cut off or you are close to it,go
for the person and not just sit down at home and be expecting them to give you
a course,most universities don't do such anymore.

Juan Mata is still a doubt for the game as he was left on the bench during Champions league while the same goes for the City stopper and captain Vincent Kompany but he is mostly to regain his position for the derby.Man city has an home advance and will be playing in front of their own fans,winning against Sevilla will make them to play with high morale as United defence of Smalling,Darmian,Rojo and Jones will be put to test by the ever attacking City strikers Raheem Sterling,De bruyne,Jesus Navas and Bony while on the other side,Martial,Depay,Rooney and Mata will also cause trouble with the City defence.
The last time a record signing of Man city,Sergio Aguero scored against a Spanish side to seal a Champions league win and also played Manchester United next up was in 2011 when City won 6-1 at the Old Tradfford,it appears like something like that is knocking again as Kevin De bruyne,the latest record signing also netted a winner against Sevilla and then Manchester United is the next opponent again but am sure Man Utd won't want that to happen this time again on Sunday.

THE RISING STAR : EPISODE 3
EPISODE 3
Pascal has a small
house on the school campus and since his arrival as a student, he has been quite famous among every students with his red
coloured lexus car which makes other students to be curious of who owns such a
nice car.
He was driving along the bank area of the
campus one evening when it was raining cat and dog and suddenly;
Pascal! Pascal! He heard a female voice
shouted, like the crying of a mother who lost her baby.
As Pascal heard his name, he looked outside the glass and saw a girl who is heavily
soaked in the rain and almost shivering to death.
"Come in ,Come in" he said as he opened the other front door
for her"
She entered with her
soaked body and water started drooling into his car, Pascal watched for a second as it drools and she noticed
him.
"Am so
sorry", She said remorsefully.
"That's a small
thing ,i will take care of it later" he said ,as he looked into her face and admired her natural beauty
and quickly taking his eyes off her to offer her a face towel to clean her
body.
"Thanks" ,she said as she collected it.
Pascal continues
driving, then after some few minutes, Pascal saw that she is now done cleaning her body, then he asked;
"What's your name?
"Rihanna" she replied gently.
"Holala! he
exclaimed...you sing too? He asked as he switches attention to her.
"No, I am not an artist" as she smiles widely.
"But you like
listening to music ,right?
"Yes and i like
singing too" ,she responded.
"That's nice" ,Pascal replied.
"So where are you
going now?
"Queens
Hostel" ,she responded.(now feeling comfortable with
him)
"Okay, we are almost there.(he said and thought to himself that
despite her beauty she is the soft, gentle and
humble type).
He continued,
"where is your room, maybe i will pay you a visit
one day?
"Really?, You don't mean it!, She said smilingly.
"I will ,i promise ,he said, with a little smile.
(stops car as they are
already in front of Queens hostel)
"Block M, room 205" ,i will be expecting you Pascal, thanks a
lot for the lift. ,she said.
"You are
welcome", he responded.
(They hugged lightly
and she dropped down, waved at him "Good bye" and she left).
(Pascal watched her
smilingly as she walks away)...
Vooom!!!!!!!!...he
drove away!

EPISODE 2
Pascal is a 21 years old one and only son
of Gbenga Pele, the Vice chancellor of the Ronald Williams University, Abuja
which Pascal attends and Rachael Pele, his mother, a business woman involved
with clothings and jewellery and her goods are quite known all over the
country. Ronald Williams University was established by an Englishman but it
is dominated with Nigerian students and some few foreigners from abroad .Pascal
has two elder sisters, Helen, the first child, a lawyer married to a neurosurgeon in the United
States of America and the second Ruth is an unmarried TV presenter for NewsPlus
Broadcasting Company, Chicago.
Pascal knocks on the door of Mr Collins,
"Come in" he said softly.
"Good morning sir" Pascal said.
"Morning Pascal, how are you?
"Am fine Sir"
"Hope you like the environment of the
school and you are enjoying yourself?
"Yes sir ,it has been good ,Pascal
replied.
"You are welcome to this department, i bet it is
the best music department in this country and as you go on you will get to meet
some guys to associate with on your music career" he said.
"Thanks a lot sir" said Pascal.
"Lest i forget The
PDF format i told you guys to download and read,make sure you do so because you
will write a test on it next week".
"Oh! I will, Thanks sir.
"Your dad is a
very good friend of mine so be free to check on me anytime for anything". Alright?
"Yes Sir, Thanks
sir.
Okay, bye!
Yes sir! He said and
left his office.
